Yes. She said 100,000 officers. There are not and never have been 100,000 officers in Ukraine. The Tass (Russian propaganda office) article only mentions “hundreds of thousands of dead,” with no distinction between Ukrainian and Russian, Civilian or Combat.
The t.me is in Russian. Oops. You let your nationality show.
The American Conservative cites Mark Slebowda in turn citing a Russian claim of 100,000 casualties, which means injured or killed, not killed, which the American Conservative shamefully mistakes as 100,000 dead, which it in turn extrapolates to mean 400,000 casualties. (Seriously AC? This is perhaps the dumbest thing you’ve ever done!)
Then another Russian site.
Then a Rumble conspiracy-peddling site which claims that NATO is using war with Russia to depopulate Ukraine so it can create a new Israeli state.
And then a source which doesn’t say anythng like what you claim it says.
That moment that the US and NATO realized backing Ukraine was an utter mistake....

Utterly hilarious and watch it with sound on!
I have studied several languages, including Spanish, Russian and German.
“Officer” is a typical translation mistake. In different languages it can mean police, military officer, or “official” in the sense of “official” military compared to “unofficial” militia.
I’d be intrigued to know the background of the translation. My guess is the meaning or intent was “official soldiers.”
JFK’s translator had him say, “I am a jelly donut!” in Berlin.
Carter’s translator had him say, “I make love to the Polish people.”
Thanks, also see 44.

LMAO!
How many ways are you guys going to post this article?
We used to have moderators to delete duplicates.
I think “100,000 officers” was a similar semantical error by her German-first-language ‘terp.
First time I saw it.
Personally, Der Fuhrer wannabe UrsalaIdiot simply spout conservative estimates that which Col. MacGregor and others have long asserted, as well as various media sources.
Key words being ‘conservative estimates.’
I, as others, believe the numbers are higher, much higher.

FR Search under Ukraine and let me know where the moderators were when the a-typical FR propaganda peddlers were slamming article after article after article, day after day after day after day after day on Kherson, Crimea Bridge and other PR victories....and no mention from you on them duplicate threads by FR moderators. Ironic huh?
Going back to the original invasion, has Larry Johnson been correct on anything he has said?
“... has Larry Johnson been correct on anything he has said?”
Has anything he said been refuted?
Well, we now know for certain (i.e., from the horse’s mouth) what the error was: she mistranslated “official” as “officer” but she also mistranslated “casualty” as “killed.”
So, she meant to say that there have been 100,000 casualties in Ukraine, which probably translates to about 25,000 killed, whch is higher than claimed by Ukraine, but way more likely than 100,000 dead.
But, neocons don't give a damn how many Ukrainians die or how much Ukraine shrinks.
Only if you believe the propaganda of the Biden regime and Deep State, which has repeatedly proven to be nonsense.
“The Ukrainian Army Has Been Defeated. What’s Left Is Mop-Up” This was in March 2022.
That don’t indicate shat to me.
Show me where it has been conclusively proven that anything he has said, speculated, etc. has been again, was conclusively proven wrong.
You can come up with all the spin you like, that is a realistic, probably low, number.
Pretending Ukrainians are dying in horrific numbers and could win a war when Russia owns the air space and when Ukraine's electric grid is on the verge of collapse is nothing than delusional or evil.
I agree. It’s a way low-ball KIA number.
Especially when you don’t need to pay benefits to the survivors of the MIAs, aka dead in stupid bonsai attacks against artillery, bodies never recovered.
Often decently buried by the “Russian Orcs.” And when discovered interred beneath wooden crosses, counted as a “Russian massacre.”
