I’m for Trump pin ‘24, but I won’t weep if Desantis ends up the nominee. Has any other prominent Republican stood up to challenge Apple in recent days?
They’re clearly happy using slave labor in China. What makes you think they don’t want us slaves at home, too?
Leadership.
Elon Musk started this issue noting Apple wants to go after Twitter.
Elon also wants a “sensible moderate” as he puts it to be elected President in 2024 and supports Ron DeSantis.
I rest my case.
“

Excuse me, but if “Apple wants to go after twitter” then Apple started it. If I understand correctly, an Apple honcho cancelled his twitter account and Apple stopped advertising - signs that Apple is getting ready to deplatform Twitter like they’ve done to some right wing sites
It wasn't that long ago when they were touting their civil liberty stances, refusing to give the Feds backdoor access to their encryption, while promising users safety and privacy.
Now they're sucking up to China and picking fights with Elon Musk.
Apple hasn't been the same since Steve Jobs died.
You can blame it on the current sodomite that runs apple, Timmy boy....
Musk needs to drop the truth bomb on apple, Facebook, and google.
The current CEO is a fag, so ...
What’s this got to do with Florida?
Musk needs to drop the truth bomb on apple, Facebook, and google.
.. trying to inject himself into the national conversation
Other GOP governors: crickets?
P
Florida is more orange and grapefruit than Apple.
Apple is, in fact, a Chinese and hence CCP company now. The CCp has control and can bankrupt Apple at whim. Tim Cook has to do what his boss in Peking tells him to do. Cook is a CEO in name only. He is, in fact, a manager, not a CEO. Managers do what their CEOs tell them to do. The real CEO is some faceless fellow in an office directly responsible to the Central Committee of the CCP.
“What’s this got to do with Florida?”
I imagine a lot of Floridians want free speech on Twitter and don’t want Apple to censor
Also, Floridas pension system probably includes Apple stock, so the state has financial interest in Apple not exposing itself to liability thru monopolistic bullying
Apple hasn’t been the same since Steve Jobs died.

That’s for sure,
