Despite school choice being a Texas GOP priority, Republican officials joined Democrats against it.
Since it is difficult for Democrats to win elections in Texas, they run as Republicans but vote with the Democrats. Unfortunately, Texas is overrun with RINOs.

They are LITERALLY RINOs here...they aren’t like most in Congress that support 95% of Trump’s judges (yet we call them RINOs because they don’t support the other 5%), the RINOs here are literally Democrats, and we pay the price.

Lots of fellow travelers in Texas...
School choice has always been a GOP bastion against government indoctrination...

"Matt Robinson (R-Friendswood), Audrey Young (R-Apple Springs), Pam Little (R-Fairview), Sue Melton-Malone (R-Robinson), Jay Johnson (R-Pampa), Aicha Davis (D-Dallas), Georgina Perez (D-El Paso), Ruben Cortez (D-Brownsville), Marisa Perez-Diaz (D-Converse), Lawrence Allen (D-Houston), and Rebecca Bell-Metereau (D-San Marcos) all voted in support of the anti-student position." How many of these were part of the "ed biz" bureaucracy before gaining office? I would bet most of them.

Screw the school board. Time for Texas Congress to become adults.

Good news. The legislature can reject the Texas State Board of Education's call.
They turned deaf ears on voters, let's see what the legislature does.

RINOs are insidious. The difference between RINOs and avowed Democrats is that RINOs work within the Republican party to change Republican policies and agendas. They’re very effective. That’s why RINOs are worse than Democrats.

It costs about $1,000,000 to get a charter school going. If anyone would rather put their $$ to good use INSTEAD of torching it in support of failed candidates, school choice in your local area is a great cause.

Do any of them have relatives who are employed by public schools? That’s been a problem with some Republican congressional representatives in some places (daughters are teachers, etc.). They vote to funnel more money into public schools and support teachers’ and administrators’ social agendas (CRT, feminism, LGBTxxxx causes, etc.).
