What’s wrong of living next to the oil well?
As a lad growing up in the 50s I went to a school that was a half mile from maybe two or three dozen oil wells. The newer ones were metal and looked like grasshoppers and the older ones were still made of wood. Just went up and down, almost hypnotic. Don’t remember very much sound from them and they weren’t surrounded by dead birds.

(Soon the January 6 protesters will be held (without trial or bail) longer than Jefferson Davis was.)

Most of those pump jacks are most likely "stripper" wells....producing less than 100 barrels a day....Which if you own a few..that's good $$...
Calif. is dead to me...and I was born and raised there.
