Certainly. If you no longer believe you are accountable for your actions before God, your reference point of accountability shifts to human society. Human society is very malleable.
More worrisome are the enablers and supporters who, while perhaps not personally corrupt in their own behavior, are possessed of such a spirit of love, tolerance, compassion, and humanity that they will countenance any behavior, no matter how perverse, in an effort to be diverse, equitable, and inclusive. They are actually worse than the much less numerous sexual perverts. This is because their votes emplace and maintain the coercive governmental power used to implement their agenda.
Of course, to even say these words is now considered the very epitome of “violence” against the LGBTQI+ community. In the United Kingdom and Canada, these words are an actionable offense if seen by enabling law enforcement.
“Nonjudgmental” is as evil as evil itself.

Of course, the present “Woke” cancel subculture is far harsher. There is no forgiveness for offenses against established dogma no matter how far in the past or how groveling and cravenly sincere the apology.
