That was kind of what I was thinking.
I don’t want McCarthy for speaker — no how, no way. He’s a spineless wimp. We may have this one chance to actually do something. No to reaching across the aisle, no to Liz Cheney! NO COMPROMISE! Look at all the damage that was done to this country when the dems had fewer in their majority than the incoming republicans. NO NO NO NO NO —NO compromise! Destroy Biden and his unholy agenda!
Trump for Speaker. Can’t think of anything else. It’ll make the last two years of America fairly entertaining.
The Uniparty worked to cheat MAGA first in the primaries, and now in the general election. Now they want McCarthy to give the appearance of what? Bipartisanship=Uniparty. Hopefully, we get enough House seats that this isn’t an option, but RINOs and Dems need to get a room and hook up frequently.

There are 435 votes in the election for Speaker.
Trump and Desantis working together but leading the media down a rivalry road that doesn’t exist until the last moment when the two titans merge in what ever capacity to crush them all into dust.

My money is that the Democrats will know how many votes short he is, identify ‘moderates’ on their side of the aisle, and order them to vote for McCarthy to ensure he’s the Speaker. Out of his willingness to reach across the aisle and whatever other BS they’ll come up with.
And it’s the status quo for 2 more years.
And if he takes that deal with the Democrats, that is ALL THE MORE PROOF McCarthy should NOT be the Speaker of the House!!
He will take the deal because he is a member of the UNIPARTY and doesn’t care about anything other than having that title next to his name...I’m sure he thinks it will help him reach the Presidency someday! LOL!
