Question: What went wrong? Answer: A lot.

Alexander Mercouris
LoL REally???
Starting with the birth of Karl Marx.
“No way will I accept WaPoo, NYT, MSN. Reuters, the express as source that print the truth.”
that’s why I NEVER click on the links of those sources on FR and gives them web traffic. The summary post is good enough because i know the body of the article from these sources are pure BS.
“Question: What went wrong? Answer: A lot.”
Too true!
Napoleon was asked what a soldier most needed in war, answered, “A full belly and a good pair of shoes.”
Pray tell, what sources would you believe for reporting on the Ukraine War? It’s certainly not limited to Pravda, TASS, and RT?
Please list your reliable news sources. I’m curious. 🤨
Russian army volunteers killed as Ukrainians return to their homes
Oct 16, 2022https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6ozx2H0OZQ
Despite the ongoing war, some Ukrainians are returning to their homes in the east of the country as Ukrainian forces make gains on the battlefield. Mathias Bölinger was on the first train in six months to the city of Kramatorsk, which is located in the Donbas region.
Needless to say, that massive missile strikes by Russia continue all over 404 and there are reports of massive explosions and power outages in Nikolaev and other places, plus Kiev remains to be targeted. And, as was expected, all VSU attempts to perform "offensives" have been repelled with massive losses for VSU, including at Kremennaya and Svatovo (in Russian), but NATO--let's drop the pretense here--will try to throw as much cannon fodder at Russian formations as possible because they need something, like "breakthrough" in some sectors, because the Midterms are coming and Russians amassing troops for obvious things. Time is running out.
So, there are signs that the realization of grim reality begins to descend on Washington D.C.
I was on record for years--pardon me for my pleasure in reminding everyone--that NATO cannot fight a real war with the peer. Russia is not just the peer, Russia fields combat capabilities many of which are simply non-existent anywhere in NATO (US, of course, included). This becomes increasingly obvious both through operational and strategic incompetence of NATO planners and through admissions of such nature as by Austin or, if you read further, by:
Mark Cancian is a senior adviser at the Center for Strategic & International Studies who spent seven years working on DOD procurement issues for the Office of Management and Budget. His assessment based on inventory levels, industrial capacity, and information from the Biden administration is that the U.S. has "limited" supplies of HIMARs, Javelins, Stingers and M-777 Howitzers. "There are some areas where we’re basically at the bottom of the barrel," he told Fox News Digital. In some cases, this means the U.S. will likely start meeting Ukraine’s request for weaponry by sending over lower-end substitutions, such as lighter Howitzers that are serviceable but not what Ukraine is after. In other cases, the U.S. may not have much to give – Cancian said that while there is talk of the U.S. providing more air defense equipment, there is not much the U.S. can give in that area. Cancian said he reads Austin comments as a sign that the days of the U.S. giving Ukraine its best stuff are gone.
###
But this fast review may give you some glimpse into the "thinking" by NATO planners who need something, anything to show for their failed "offensives" and to somehow spin (to cover up, that is) an atrocious record of the US-made weaponry (plus from other lapdogs) in real combat conditions. There will be a talk about well documented utter failure of the US AGM-88 HARM missiles against Russian Air Defense, but we need to be patient and wait for the conclusion of the active part of SMO and with anti-terrorist operations by FSB and MVD coming at the forefront of this war. In the end, terrorism is the only type of war combined West excels at.
No.
“Reliable” is subjective.

Scum of the Earth, can you send me and others any BS you have on Mercouris via another set of spammed out made up BS FR MAILS?!
Oh, forward such to an FR Moderator, as well?
I have posted before multiple times. Please do your own research on your sources.
More made up BS spammed out FR MAIL when, neo-Nazi scum of the Earth?
Thx..... I am getting some laughs here! The pro-Russian crowd gets plenty of licks in, yet all they do is complain and complain and complain about pro-Ukrainian threads.
They should start their own FR threads. And they do sometimes. I have never gone on their threads and complained, how they are mucking up Free Republic.
Alexander Mercouris....not globohomo. But sure looks homo. Yet a pro-Putin fave here. For Freeper “cranked” at least. Go figure.
Yes, I have seen his/Alexander Mercouris YouTube videos for ten minutes at a time, out of curiosity.
Good you checked in with your neo-Nazi scum of the Earth boss lady. GG
As posted.. peace for today and until Tuesday. No sarcasm.

In response to your question, I go to:
https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/world-socialist-web-site/
There is a search engine I use. For instance:
1. THE DURAN is considered a questionable source based on far-right-wing bias, promotion of Russian propaganda, right-wing conspiracies, a lack of transparency, use of poor sources, plagiarism, and failed fact checks.
https://mediabiasfactcheck.com/the-duran/
ALEXANDER MERCOURIS, who in 2012 was disbarred as an attorney in London. According to the Telegraph, he then went on to become a “pro-Russian commentator on world affairs for Russian TV news outlets and websites.”
LOW CREDIBILITYpromotion of Russian propaganda, right-wing conspiracies, a lack of transparency, use of poor sources, plagiarism, and failed fact checks
COUNTRY CYPRUS
-The Duran’s director is Peter Lavelle, the host of RT’s (Russian state news outlet) political debate program CrossTalk.
-In 2018, the right-leaning Weekly Standard accused The Duran of peddling Russian “Fake News.”
ANALYSIS/BIAS
In review, The Duran publishes news and opinions with a conservative and pro-Russian perspective, such as this: Roger Stone Shines New Light on Russia-Gate Hoax. This story is copied and pasted directly from the pro-Russian Strategic Culture Foundation.
However, all articles involving Russia are generally positively slanted, such as Russia Grinds Out Wins In Europe and Trump boxed in on Iran, as Putin holds key to prevent war in Persian Gulf (Video). In addition, many articles are poorly sourced from Russian Propaganda outlets such as RT and Sputnik.
When covering the USA, the Duran demonstrates a conservative bias with frequent articles denigrating the left such as this: Rudy Giuliani DESTROYS Hillary Clinton, “America’s Number One Crime Family” (Video), and this story promoting a conspiracy theory, NXIVM Sex-Cult Prosecutors Have Evidence Of Illegal Clinton Campaign Contributions For “Political Influence.” This last story is copied and pasted from the right-wing conspiracy website Zerohedge.
In general, The Duran routinely publishes pro-Russian propaganda and promotes right-wing conspiracies through the use of poorly sourced, plagiarized news articles.
SUMMARY The Duran as a Questionable source based on far-right-wing bias, promotion of Russian propaganda, right-wing conspiracies, a lack of transparency, use of poor sources, plagiarism, and failed fact checks. (D. Van Zandt 11/30/2016) Updated (04/16/2022)
