This is an untrue statement.
History is full of accounts of people with sincere motives and yet were wrong.
Who is playing basketball this early?
At this point, the kneeling doesn’t mean anything anymore. It is a worn-out fad and these fools don’t even realize that. Its only service to us is to point out the enemy.
They agree to play basketball for the school for a scholarship and they agree to abide by the rules of the college. You don’t abide you get suspended. You continue to break the rules, hit the road and jerk their scholarship.
If you want to show your ass and protest do it on your OWN TIME, the fans do not want this crap thrown in their faces and the embarrassment of a team full of angry leftist cry babies.

I would expect that at least some of these people are on scholarships.
And I would suspect that all of the scholarships have some sort of ethics / code of conduct clause. And something that brings negative attention to the school would probably a violation.
It should be very easy to suggest that this was their ONE WARNING.
And that if it happens again, THEY are the ones opting out of their scholarships/ contracts.
Maybe the coach can show those kneelers this:
