There are a couple of options you didn’t mention, so I will:
4) Walk the streets (ifyaknowwhatimean ...)
5) Do unspeakable things in front of a camera, and post the resulting video on “only fans”.

Tenured college professors can make over $250,000 annually and only be in the classroom a few hours each week. Scam. In flyover country you have to be a rockstar researcher or a senior administer like a department head to make that kind of money. That said, flyover universities have to pay big bucks to attract east and west coast professors and administrators at considerably more than $250K

I humbly suggest that the issuers of student loans be allowed (even encouraged) to discriminate strongly according to the student’s chosen major. For some programs of study, getting a student loan should be impossible on the grounds that it will never be repaid.

If we need a new roof for our house or if one of our cars need repairs I damn sure will NOT rely on someone with a PhD in Ubangi transgender studies or Aztec lesbian drum beating. For all their pseudo intellectualism millennials are being scammed by the overpriced diploma mills. Nothing wrong with learning a trade and getting your hands dirty. At least you’d have much smaller student debt,if any.

The military also gives you opportunity for the American dream. Jeez, it’s always about having to give something to someone. That's the route my daughter took. Six years in the Army, then used her GI Bill to pay for nursing school.

The article capitalizes black and lower cases White, so it is racist and worth nothing.

No matter the issue, no matter the details, circumstances or intentions, people obsessed with race (by definition, "racists") always take the opportunity to interject race ... to make it about race. That's what we have with these "experts".

It’s hysterical to hear student debt complaints from those who took out loans to pay for their own daycare after high school.

I doubt anyone at my flyover university makes upwards of $100,000 a year, other than administrators and perhaps some professors in the College of Business.
Of course with a few more years of Biden-level inflation, $100,000 will be worth $50,000 in 2022 dollars so salaries will have to be raised.

Great for your son. We were pretty tied in to the homeschool community. When our first graduated, almost all went to college. By the last one, most were doing trades.

Well, if black students supposedly have higher levels of student debt than white students, the thing to do is to have a sliding scale of $10,000 to $50,000 for the amount of debt to be forgiven. To get more than $10,000 you have to produce results from a DNA testing company showing what percentage of sub-Saharan ancestry you have.

Black is capitalized and White is not.
Hmmm!🤔
White people are more financially literate, more likely to graduate from high school, less likely to have a felony criminal record, more likely to be married, if having children, less likely to have multiple children, to different men, starting at age 15....

Actually, if their argument was correct, the better case would be to make a sliding scale based upon wealth. That way, to the extent blacks have less wealth, they would receive a greater benefit. But it also would mean that wealthier blacks wouldn't get more of a benefit than poor whites. Of course, that's not what those black activists are interested in, because to them, a black person should always get more than a white person.
I think the entire concept of paying off student debt is completely unfair to the working class. I remember fellow students in law school who were leftists nevertheless clamoring for cheaper tuition. I'd call them out on it, and say that how is it fair for people who are likely to be far wealthier than average getting tuition support, when working class people who never get to college at all get nothing? You could see the argument almost terrifying them mentally, and they'd just gloss over it.
Pathetic elitist hypocrites.
To: Verginius Rufus
I agree. A PHD lecturer isn’t going to make the big bucks. To make the bigger bucks they have run a research lab or become a higher level administrator.

The reality is that $10k was too much for many, but not enough for some who can never repay what the government claims they owe.
Yes, the $10k times the tens of millions who will try to claim it is far too much money. But then there is this idea that $10k is a life-changing amount of money for some individual; that with $10k debt out of the way, someone can buy a house. That is absurd.
