What Elon Musk calls civilization crumbling is in fact that "Great Reset" you've been hearing about. It's a feature not a bug.

Meanwhile Elon Musk does really well on what amounts to corporate welfare.

That’s what the article says, all right.

Elon is also filmed waxing philosophical about “sustainable energy” in past interviews I have seen.

Fuse the two. Musk makes alternative energy vehicles for a living, but he also knows that he needs a viable economy to sell them in. He has been doing all right on the green-weeny bandwagon, but Mao isn’t going to buy enough Teslas.

It makes sense to me, anyway.

Utopians don’t care if civilization crumbles there isn’t much they don’t hate to them it’s a goal.

Never try to deal with crazy people they are locked into their mode.

The actual truth is that we are doomed if we even try to transition from coal too quickly.

We already have transitioned too far from coal to make it back. We've torn down lignite plant after lignite plant here in Texas and we're paying for it, both in absurd prices and lack of generation.
