When was the last time you saw a lawyer in Congress who even expressed mild interest in dismantling “The Swamp?”
Most responsible adults have no interest in a Beltway existence. Lawyers are a notable exception. The political figures in recent years who have risen to the top in my eyes were conspicuous in that they AREN’T lawyers. In addition to Donald Trump (real estate developer), I would add Rand Paul (medical doctor) and Thomas Massie (engineer) to the mix.

The principle of supporting law enforcement doesn’t require every single thing someone does in the name of law enforcement - indeed, that’s actually not supporting law enforcement.

It’s a sad thing when a man’s lust for power overcomes his moral compass so that the ends justify the means. Or in the words of the senator in the movie Mr Smith goes to Washington, “ Jeff I know I’ve done some bad things but look at the good it’s allowed me to do!”

Asa Hutchinson seems to be intent on unloading his hidden RINO self in his last months of haveing been elected as a conservative, or at least nominal Republican. He is obviously job hunting to the highest bidder who will be another RINO in govt power circles. I sincerely hope that the Sara Huckabee team is genuine conservative, working for Arkansas and not the DC establishment. Never would have had any concerns about that but I do not trust even one politician these days. Verify, trust, and double verify again.
