News flash...the Fourth Amendment supercedes an investigation.

The DOJ argues that releasing the document would reveal too many details about the investigation and undercut its efforts.

Sounds like double secret probation!

Sounds like they are egging on the extreme right to violence. They should probably lay off their vendetta.

The DOJ knows the affidavit is their weak link. If it is revealed, their entire effort to get Trump collapses like a house of cards. Trump will get the affidavit. I can hardly wait.

The DOJ and the FBI — but more the latter than the former — are simply not used to having people they attack turn around and fight back.

Seems to me the affidavit would contain the name of the person stating the objects that PDJT had in his possession at Mar a Lago. Now if that is the case a warrant was issued on the basis of a known accuser.

I am no constitutional scholar but it is my opinion that that refusing to release that name would be a violation of the 6th Amendment.

In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial by an impartial jury of the state and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor; and to have the assistance of counsel for his defense.

i.e The right to face his accuser.

The right to face his accuser.

Another Cassidy Hutchinson perhaps?
