Any tranny caught caught driving one of these should have his man bun burned off.
Thanks but I’ll keep my extended cab 2002 paid off Ford Ranger at $50 insurance and $3 a month property tax.
Cars/Trucks will or already have become the ‘new’ house mortgage......
Awesome sauce.
and it only goes a third the distance of a gas vehicle
Ford is increasing the starting prices of its electric F-150 Lightning truck by as much as $8,500 due to “significant material cost increases and other factors.”

I remember when $8k was the price of a new car.
Now only the “chosen” will get to drive. The rest of us - Mass Transit.
They have MPG data on the widow stickers of vehicles.
EV’s should have a Virtue Signaling Ratio (VSR) in place of the MPG
For a new 6.7L F250…… ballpark of $80-90k for an XLT. It’s disgusting.
“The 2023 F-150 Lightning will now range from $47,000 to $97,000”
What in the world would make the high end trim $50,000 more?
add that to your utility bills rivaling your mortgage/rent as your largest monthly bill
Hahahahaha...a squirrel cage instead of an electric motor!
“I remember when $8k was the price of a new car”
I remember 25 cent gas wars but the world has moved on.....not for the better I might add.
A new $7.500 rebate to buy electric.
Raise the sales price by $7,000
seems about right.
Child labor costs at the lithium mines has increased
i bet the difference is the quality of the battery
I understand the new bronco has a ton of recalls......I suspect it’ll be the same with these.
For a very limited set of users, some of these EV’s could make sense. Short commutes, heavy towing for short distances, predictable routes. Maybe.
But for those of us in S FL who may need to spontaneously drive to ATL once in a while, a 2.5-day trip is not a solution.
I also like the Hummer EV with a gross vehicle weight of 9,500 lbs. Don’t let Anne Heche get ahold of one of those. It won’t stop in the kitchen, it will roll to Kansas.
We could ship them a million illegal "migrants', maybe 50 bucks a head.
Saw a Jeep Wagoner commercial the other day.
Starting price $69,999
Grand Wagoner $89,999
People are out of their minds...
