Perhaps you’re correct. The lower body of Congress, The U.S. House is closer to the people. It is this body that holds the purse strings of the nation.

The U.S. House appropriates the funds to keep various agencies operating. The House, under republicans can withhold or slow walk funding in order to bring about change.

Will they under Kevin McCarthy? We will see. It’s either that or the alternative. The alternative could end up being much worse for our nation.
