The ratio of killed/wounded in Chicago is surprising to me.
I guess when the “pop a cap in yo’ @ss” they go for the fleshy/fatty part.
Probably more humiliating to go around afterwards with a shot buttocks than being killed outright.

Society would have been better off if the thug had been shot in the head, but the guy may have been trying to hit him in the torso. Harder to hit a moving target in the dark than a stationary target at the range.
