It is important to realize that the mullahs did not evolve and come to power in a cultural and social vacuum. There is a reason for their ascendancy in Iran. Also whatever the Iranian masses are chanting, they do not share American values. Best if our vulnerable naval surface combatants withdraw from that confined Persian Gulf deathtrap and come home. The alien locals have to work out their own consensus. The oil will find a market. Also don’t want any more American blood or treasure defending the 9/11 Saudis.
