“ I’d charge right in regardless of the risk and do whatever I could to stop the killing. Every police officer I know personally would feel the same way I do.”
Ya. This is not going over well.

So what do you think is different? You think somehow they entered the classroom much earlier than reported? Or the shooting started later? The cops somehow were much later arriving on the scene?
And the basis for your belief on this?

Were there no windows in the classroom?

You bring up part of a very good point, I think. The entire concept of security is upside-down. Schools, where children used to bring guns are now full of “teachers” who are unarmed if not afraid of guns. The doors are security doors, virtually un-breakable with little windows. This is “stupid”, mechanical security. It works for whoever controls the lock. With stupid people in the mix, who feel “safer” because of this, they are worse than useless.
Once the deranged shooter gets into the school, he only needs to get in one class room, and then he can close the door and start executing teachers and students. The plan failed because doors were open, and then couldn't be unlocked. What genius designed this system?
Everyone has forgotten the lesson of 9-11. A plane full of disarmed people is a killing field for a man with a box-cutter.
And the one plane that failed to achieve it's goal on 9-11 was because the ordinary people onboard made the sacrifice to down the plane before it could be weaponized to kill anyone else. Here, the cops denied the local community the ability to be heroes and save their kids.

No windows?
Since when has it taken 90 minutes for cops to bust a door down, let alone an interior, classroom door?

I’ll take 5 cops with guns that actually rush in to save kids over the 100 that simply show up and walk around posing for cameras in body armor carrying weapons hours after the event is over.
To: chuckee
There were at least 2 kids in there that were hiding and didn’t get shot.

Unfortunately, police departments run on policy, and those policies include waiting for permission/orders to proceed. Those orders come from a superior, who may or may not be on the scene. An officer can try to be a hero, and storm the place, but if it all turns to shit, he can get himself and others killed, or wounded. In the end, even if he survives, he'll likely be vilified, marked as a threat to the security of the department, brought up on departmental charges, and lose his job. Shit rolls downhill, and you can bet that superior won't be the one left holding the bag. And right on cue, people are attacking the cops, not the person above them who probably told them to "hold in place."

Is it possibly due to training and departmental procedures & policies? All exist because of the local government’s (and departments) fear of predatory lawyers.
Additionally, these days ultimately no one has their back. They could be a hero going in and the next day on the docket in court for some “mistake” made in the heat of the encounter.

Since when has it taken 90 minutes for cops to bust a door down, let alone an interior, classroom door?If the FBI was on scene all someone had to do was say the shooter had Bidens' daughters diary with him. The would have rushed in post haste.

He may have had a student checking account with a debit card, and when he saved enough money, paid from there. They don’t hand you cash at Wendy’s. They issue a paper check or have it direct-deposited.

Cops are said to have learned from Columbine not to delay entry.
They are still learning.

"The cops were stopping the parents from rushing in!"
What good would unarmed parents do entering the school, with an active shooter in the building? I understand the emotions of the parents at that moment, but if they entered, and were shot and killed themselves, how would that benefit their child in the school, that had survived the shooting?

That has been the biggest conspiracy in our life. ”
Conspiracy theories are for weak minded people .
They serve to distract people from real issues and turn off critical thinking skills.
Crackpots who follow these ideas are on both the left and and the right, they are both equally bad.

Yes. There is a mod of operation with these trolls. One of them post an article then all of the trolls attempt to control the narrative of the thread. That means TigerClaws is on my list of bad actors.
