Today’s schools are poorly disguised prisons. Why wouldn’t those who attend act like inmates?

I certainly agree — eat healthy and exercise, especially with other kids. So many kids spend hours a day alone, on screens.
Actually he seems better off than my oldest who was put on meds. Later in high school he turned to drugs, starting with pot. Now he is engaged to a Dutch girl, drugs are regular, responsibilities are not. At almost 30 he seems stuck at the very age he started meds.
Sorry to hear this—addiction is the worst. I think my son does vaping (nicotine and pot) and beer but hopefully not more than that…
It was eliminated on purpose to close the original achievement gap between boys and girls.
