you do realize it took them 90 days to take over a steel plant right?

You do realize they had to retreat out of kyiv, kharkiv and getting beaten back in most other prices, right?

No one has said that he personally lives it, and we all know Putin is corrupt as well. But in a major speech he have he said liberalism, Fasvism, Communism are all failures and a return to Traditionalism is called for, so he at least wants that for society. And Zelenskyy doesn’t live for God, is also corrupt, plays a piano with his pecker, wears latex and high heels when dancing, and has let filth into Ukraine.

But people are tired of Iraq wars, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Bush Leaguers and McCainiacs supporting coups overseas that means more wars, more $$$ going overseas to countries corrupt like Ukraine.

We’re 30 trillion in debt, sending 40 billion to that slush fund Ukraine, we protecr their borders not ours, we have stagflation, no baby formula, etc.

And you want to warmonger more?

We were lied to by people hrre Putin was going to roll over Europe at the start of tjis, and he won’t attack a NATO member.

What, you want to protect Ukraine lihe a big brother? Not our job. They aren’t a NATO member and Europe is more than capable.

But it’s not faaaair? Yeah, life isn’t fair and we aren’t world cops.

After over a month the Russians managed to take one city at a cost of thousands of dead soldiers, two major naval vessels sunk, and a dozen or so dead Generals.

If that’s a victory I can’t wait to see defeat.

The usual suspects here that draw these kinds of people (post #6) will destroy FR with these threads.

If they actually fought NATO forces head on they’d be destroyed. Except for nukes Russia’s military sucks.

LOL. Just wait it will get even better but victory will be declared.

Keep in mind Russia never really had a good army. They just don’t mind losing lives to achieve their goals. And they don’t mind burning their whole country down to the ground and call it victory.

I suspect they will say they proved their point. Ukraine is NOT part of NATO. (Ignoring the fact that Sweden and Finland now will be).

Why?

Because they are fighting for their freedom...and perhaps we had an agreement to do so?

I guess people who fight for their own families and freedom from a total douchbag aggressor of a country are losers, huh?

Seems like the only losers are the ones getting their asses handed to them. How much armor do you think russia lost today?

I think the Ukes need a lesson from WW2. Use decoy tanks, fake radio traffic and false troops and move them around to confuse the russkies.

And the Russians could do the same.

Actually, they are fighting against the Biden regime, Victoria Nuland, Anthony Blinken, General Miley and Lloyd Austin. And, that is why the Russians are winning both the war on the ground and the sanctions war.

Russia will control all of Donbass, with the support of the people there, and Black Sea. Ukraine will be a rump state overrun with neo-Nazi leftovers and the criminals Zelensky let out of prison at the start of the war.

The sane people here will be asking, Maxy, how in the world you could have believed that the Biden regime narrative about this war was true until the bitter end? And, why on earth with more problems we've seen in this country since the late 1970s and an important mid-term coming up that you and others were obsessed with this war instead of focusing on far more important issues?

“If they actually fought NATO forces head on they’d be destroyed. Except for nukes Russia’s military sucks.”

I’ve been saying that for years. Take away Russia’s nukes and it is an average military, about on a par with Turkey; and I think Turkey would probably win in a head-to-head war against Russia.

Your post (#23) is a response to my post (#12).

I posted about this in #12:

“Lost having influence in the 2016 election”

My post in #12 dealt with that nonsense in #6.

But you use a Red Herring to deflect from that Hillary nonsense I rebuked.

Secondly, we aren’t God of this planet called to dedend every country attacked. We aren’t world cop. Ukraine isn’t NATO. Russia won’t invade a NATO country. But we are 30 trillion in debt, birders overrun, Europe can deal with Ukraine, we have stagflation while Europe leeches off of us.

Take your world empire neocon nonsense elsewhere.

Depends on who is attacking/defending and where.

Russia invades Turkey...Turkey wins.
Turkey invades Russia...Russia wins.

Slavyangrad - Gleb Bazov
Tactics & Strategy: For a while now, I have been promising an overview of the change in the Russian strategy and tactics with the shift of the emphasis in the military campaign to Donbass. This is not that post. However, it is the report that first made me start thinking about the subject. The analysis comes from Starshe Eddy, who has been on the frontlines in Izyum since before Izyum became the key bridgehead on the line of front in the Russian military campaign in Ukraine. Starshe Eddy witnessed first-hand the changes in the Russian forces’ approach to tackling the Ukrainian defences. His assessment, translated below, dates to April 27, 2022, or a half a month ago. It explains, with clarity, the methodical success of the Russian military planning in the past month.

Dear brother Vladlen Tatarsky pondered in his “The Evening Vladlen” report what form is our offensive in the Izyum theatre of the conflict going to take—whether the strategy chosen is the one in which we grind the grouping of the enemy in battle and wait until the losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (“UAF”) become critical, or if it will more closely resemble the Battle of Rzhev in 1942.

In my opinion, it is the first alternative. We grind the grouping of the enemy, while slowly advancing. If we encounter serious resistance, the armies stop and the defensive lines of the enemy are subjected to constant missile and artillery strikes.

This is clearly visible from the losses of the opposing sides. The UAF, being on the defensive, loses seven (7) times more soldiers. The corpses of the Ukrainians fighters litter the strongpoints and settlements where they mounted their defence. A vivid symptom of this situation is the mood in the Ukrainian segment of the internet.

Every day we show new photographic evidence of killed and imprisoned Ukrainian fighters, while the Ukrainian propaganda, in response, broadcasts the inane fantasies of Arestovich, who threatens to take Tiraspol in the course of a half an hour.

In addition, our advance is hardly very slow. The front is wide, and, if, in a given location, we destroy the arriving reinforcements of the UAF day after day, then our comrades to the left and to the right continue moving forward. They are approaching Barvenkovo and Yampol.

The most important task at the moment is to eliminate the enemy artillery. Once that is done, we can easily bypass the defensive nodes and bury the Ukrainians in the forest belts and platoon strongholds, where they mount their defence.

PS. I recall a second worthwhile Tactics & Strategy report from around the same time, which, if I find it, I will also endeavour to translate, before moving on to my own analysis.

Just a guess but it would interesting to know how well our weapons systems go up against genuine Russian forces.

In Russian client states we fought we were told the russkies we’re holding back their good stuff and weren’t proper Soviet soldiers.

Is it worth forty billion dollars I don’t think so.

“then give back the extra $40 billion from the Senate if the “freedom fighters” are so “successful”

I don’t see why we are “giving” them anything. I’d prefer cash.
