“special needs” used to mean special needs...now if you hate broccoli and don’t want to go to bed on time....”special needs” Completely over used phrase.
My heart goes out to you - I wish it had been easier for you - it was even hard reading. That said, in an emergency setting if a higher percentage of women were nursing, them women in your spot - women who really needed formula for their babies. would have formula available.
I wonder if those spike proteins get into breast milk?
If women who could nurse would nurse - there would be more formula available for women like your sister.
It would help...
Hopefully this shortage will be solved before it’s a life or death situation. Does anyone have a ‘recipe’ for baby formula - a balanced baby ‘drink’ made from common products? What did women use in the 1940’s? I suspect there’s solutions out there.
Maybe Pete Buttigieg could offer up some chest milk.
Won’t disagree with that. I hope the women who can nurse help those that are having trouble.
I feel sorry for new parents. The young were duped by the left.
That sounds like mastitis. I got that twice when I was nursing my twins.
Lactose intolerance is for real. It’s common among people of asian descent and I have it. Too much dairy causes horrible stomach cramps, gas and diarrhea.
That’s actually a good point.
