“The Republicans provide little incentive to vote for them.”

Yeah, that’s the right idea; subject our Country to further destruction of our Republic to the point we don’t have one. Real politically smart of you, ... right.

Its ironic that you say that because Republicans have done little to nothing to stop the destruction. All they do is appease Democrats and whine about the need for more people to get anything done. Lots of people are getting tired of the excuses.

Tell me what exactly the Republicans do to earn our votes. They are the ones asking for our vote so I believe its fair to ask them what they are doing to earn it. In every other occupation you have to produce results if you want the job. Politics should be no different. Smart people don’t keep buying things that don’t produce results. Only fools do.

The GOP wants our money and our votes but not our convictions and beliefs. Maybe if enough people demand results from them the country would be better off.

The election is only about six months away and the Republicans don’t even have an agenda. think about that for a moment.

My ears could hear a pin drop:

Nobody laughed at his ‘joke’.

That’s all we need to know.

“Tell me what exactly the Republicans do to earn our votes.’

You’ve got only two viable choices in U.S. elections, in other words a party that can actually win. Most any Republican will be better than any Democrat, with few exceptions. Years ago that might not have been true. Now it is as the Dems are now a Communist/Fascist party.

Thus if you don’t vote for a Republican by voting for a third party or don’t vote at all, you are guaranteed by your actions to have allowed the Democrat to win. Thus four more years of Socialism/Communism and the end of our Country as we know it. And once entrenched, Dictatorships are hard to get rid of. See Cuba and Venezuela for examples. That’s the reality. Happy now?

You totally avoided answering my question, which I believe is a fair one to ask for the reasons cited in my previous comment.

Instead you ask if I’m happy now. Well no, I’m not at all happy with the GOP. Which brings me right back to the fundamental question “what exactly are they doing to earn our votes?”

I don’t like weakness and I don’t like duplicity. That’s what the GOP is all about. I don’t disagree one bit with your characterization of Democrats but my point (which I think you missed entirely, or chose to ignore) is that the reason the Dems are so radical is because of Republican unwillingness to stand up to them. Too often Republicans, in their misplaced obsession with “bi-partisanship” act as as enablers and facilitators for the Dems. Trust me, the Dems laugh at them for their naivety. So when you tolerate increasing levels of radicalism, expect a lot more of the same. In other words, the Dems are the way they are because Republicans won’t fight them.

When we blindly vote for Republicans we unwittingly reward them for not standing up to Democrats. That has to stop.

Republicans have failed to make the Democrats respect or fear them and the country is paying a terrible price for it. We have to stop rewarding failure, weakness and duplicity. GOP candidates have to be put on notice that we’re done with their games. Produce results if you want our votes; nothing less will do.

You’re on the wrong website. Go on DU as you are very useful to the Dems in ensuring their further victories. You’re just like them and don’t even know it, a useful tool.

Telling that you have no intelligent rebuttal or counterpoint.

Just cheap attempts at insults.

Behaving like a Democrat.
