This article is about China and the Pacific. Do you just generally want America destroyed by totalitarian enemies, or do you have a brain aneurysm that has you infatuated with Putin?
If you don’t want America to get destroyed then you should tell them to stop making enemies out of particularly friendly people.
What peaceful country had NATO invaded? Ukraine was not going to invade Russia and neither would NATO. Russia is a nuclear power nobody is going to invade them.
China on the other openly threatens to invade Taiwan, has been battling India over their border for decades, continues to build man made islands to gain territory, has a dispute with the Philippines over islands etc. China is not a peaceful nation and once again has zero need for a base on the Solomon islands.
By the way all though I am no expert I spent several years working the Chinese mission as an Intel analyst so I do know a little about the China threat.

Do I like it that China is settimg up a base?
No.
But people everywhere, of all political stripes, say “So tbe U.S. has hundreds of bases but freaks out over this?”
Do I like China having this base? Again, no.
But I don’t want WW3 over a base? H to the no.
And Solomon Islands undoubtedly will tell the U.S. that they don’t own them.
Yugoslavia, Libya to start with.

1.) You have to get rid of all hypocrisy for starters on global affairs for starters. Ambiguity isn’t the problem, hypocrisy is.
2 ) The desire for world empire or world control, even by America, is totalotarian in nature and is anti-American.
3.) You are supporting Obummer by supportimg his invasion and you try to justify his lie by pointing to an airliner being blown up.
4.) Supporting lies and a bombing and hypocrisy oover NATO’s no offensive wars charter because of sonethimg else leads to more of the same anf makes you a moral relativist. That’s not conservative.
5.) Your last lines in your post don’t justify your hodgepodge of excuses beforehand.

Their actions right now are pretty clear in what they’re telling us all.
