Airlines are not stupid. If the lunatics want a refund on their previously purchased ticket, the airlines given current market conditions can resell the ticket at a much higher price.

Part of my employment duties is to schedule service appointments. One lady is housebound and demands anyone that comes into her home as up to date with the “Fauci Ouchi” and wears a mask. If not up to date, then show a “negative test” result.
I told her we only require our Techs to wear masks.
She declined service on her in warranty appliance.
What a crazy existence.
This will likely continue for the rest of our lives…
Plus the airlines “know” who is likely to cause issues on the planes .... it’s the mentally unhinged freaking out because they are too terrified to be without a face diaper & they want to impose that fear on everyone else. If a refund keeps these people off the planes, it’s a good deal for all involved.
