AOC is just a small part of the dems problems. Typical of Pelosi to not identify where the problems are and try to put it on her competition. The dems and their allies have been doing things from before the 2020 election that have cultivated their very negative image.

The Russia collusion drama and other stuff that they conducted against Trump, finally proving that they and their allies - the media, tech companies (social media), and the bureaucracies, lied to the public.

The extreme lengths that the dems and their allies (including the RINOs) went in the 2020 election has not been forgotten by millions of people. The BLM riots, the mail-in ballots, the happenings in Nov. 2020 have not been forgotten. Screaming "debunked" and "baseless" by the leftwing media outlets does not take away what happened. Blatant censorship by tech social media companies does not take away this from the minds of people. The Repubcrats have tried to assist the dems to help make people forget, by telling them to look forward and forget what happened. But there are millions of people who are frustrated.

The crazy Covid measures especially in left wing governed states have not helped. People are sick of the lies and censorship. The "Word of Fauci" is a joke to everyone except the leftwing media, tech social media, and dem leaders.

The dem sponsored indoctrination of kids have been exposed to a lot of people including those who are not politically active. Then the harassment of parents who complained about this and asked for control of their kids education definitely did not help.

The current economic situation is definitely not helping. This is just a brief list. AOC is just a small part of this.
