Jews were about one-third of the population in western Ukraine before 1941. It was the historic territory of Austrian Galicia. Not sure about the East.

Do you know that today’s Ukrainians are not guilty of the crimes that their ancestors committed 80 years ago, or even more distant in time? Do you know that today’s Ukrainians voted 73% for a Jew to be their President - proving that they have very different attitudes than their ancestors?
I say the above as a Jew whose paternal grandparents were born in what is now Ukraine, knowing that they suffered from anti-Semitism before the Communists came, and that a great uncle of mine and his family were murdered in the Holocaust by the Nazis there, but with the participation of locals. I have nothing but contempt and hatred for anti-Semites…but you have to weigh the words and deeds of people based on what they, themselves, have actually done or supported. To do otherwise, to blame them for the misdeeds of others in the same area or of the same ethnicity without any other evidence, is the very essence of prejudice.
Make sure it is not the Azov Brigade who has been killing their own for over 8 years. In a situation like this I put nothing past anybody. I think it likely is them and I’m seeing it come out by credible sources. Covid was inflicted on the world by the elites and has killed millions.
2. A minority of Ukrainians did indeed support the Germans over the Russians 80 years ago, in large part because Stalin deliberately murdered millions of Ukrainians in the 1930's. Which Stone never mentioned once in his "documentary", by the way. Anyone with a basic understanding of WW2 has known about the deliberate starving of Ukrainians long before this war. Yet Stone doesn't even mention it??
From a strictly strategic stand point Ukraine needs civilian casualties to have a chance at “winning”.
1. Convince civilians Russians are killing you to build military ranks of people who would otherwise not fight. (see competitive control)
2. Convince the world Russia is killing civilians to gain military/financial support, or even have someone else fight your war.
3. Slow any enemy advancement way way down if and only if they care about the actual civilian populations (see Grozny vs Crimea vs Current situation tactics).
I agree, and have made that same point in other threads and in personal discussions. The Leftists are shocked when I tell them that though I despise Obama with every fiber of my being because of his policies, I am glad that a black person could be elected - twice- as President (though I wish it was a very different black person).
My mother’s side of the family were Hungarian Jews. Hungary was somewhat spared during the run-up and course of the war, but in the closing months, the Nazis began rounding up Jews in a last minute purge. In the Jewish community, there was a certain amount of score-settling during those months by personal and business rivals.
My grandmother and her two sisters caught a boat to the United States just ahead of the purge. My great-grandmother owned a successful business in Budapest. Family lore says that a Jewish rival in the city turned them in to the Nazis, accusing them of Communist leanings. My great-grandfather was a Russian Jew, but not a Communist. My great-grandparents and their entire family vanished, likely to Auschwitz.
Soros was very much one of these traitors, and it wasn’t as uncommon as many might assume.
There can’t be neo-nazi power centers in the ultranationalist govt and security forces…after all, they have a Jewish president!

Around 250,000, some say more, down from a a bit under 2 million at the beginning of the 20th century. An old population, dating to the 8th century and to traders for centuries prior to that.
Just because they USED NAZI’S to get rich or settle scores, that does not make them Nazi’s. If you use a horse to go from a to b, does that make you a horse? Lol
250,000 fought for the Reich. A large minoritly. 4.5 million in the Red Army, a much larger minority.
Confirmation bias is strong with some here.
