Then that does it. We’re in a recession.

I am afraid of us going into a Depression. Especially with the idiots who are in charge.

Who to believe. Who to believe.

Skyrocketing prices and a plummeting stock market, or her?

Yeah & my dog ate my homework. I’d say recession is in the cards for next year.

The price of gas & food alone will eat up many consumer’s discretionary spending, meaning the end of nights out, shopping trips, fast (expensive) food, & vacations. That will kill retail trade, leading to layoffs & cutbacks in ordering inventory which will kill wholesale & manufacturing. If that is not a recession, I don’t know what is.

Oh yeah, all those new, expensive EVs will rust unsold on the car lots. The one bright spot in such a scenario is that we cut back severely on buying junk from China.

In other words:

We are going to go into a deep depression by the end of summer

“1 trip to the grocery store screams BIDEN GREAT DEPRESSION 2.”

What it reminds me of right now is the late 70s with high inflation. People’s gas and food bills are doubling. The riple through the economy will hurt businesses and jobs. The pain is just beginning.
