My 2 cents. The Russians took fire from an office at the first nuclear plant and returned fire. This action may have started a small blaze inside the office building which never endangered the nuclear core or power generation facility. A similar event took place at the second plant. Both sides have reason to lie. I suspect that US spy sats and or spy plane overflights can or would detect higher than normal radiation levels if there was damage to either nuclear core.

What wassn't true? Russia clearly attacked the nuclear facility. There was not a major leak. Only one of the nuclear reactors was functioning.

This will turn out to be disinformation, once again, like the first one.

Watch.

Putin must be at a Hitler level of craziness.

If he is, and I am not arguing that he is not... the entire world is in great peril. I wonder if defending this Soros installed corrupt regime has been worth the risk. It is strange that for decades no one lifted a finger as the Russians invaded and installed puppet regimes in former USSR satellites. Now to preserve the most corrupt of them all we are willing to push a possibly deraigned Putin to the point where he may unleash the largest nuclear arsenal in history. Why?

My wife and I live in community that has a lot of Russian and Ukrainian fairly recent arrivals. They are mostly very good people, and they are impossible for the unfamiliar to differentiate. Very few are fond of either Putin or the corrupt regime that our leaders are risking all of our lives for. Only their young who are easily swayed by MSM propaganda believe that this is a good idea.

Hmmm. Fire in an office building.

Burning inconvenient documents?

“But yeah, who would make a mess like this in their own back yard?”

Everybody thinks of war as precise. The Gulf War gave everyone the idea that war was a bunch of guys sitting at terminals directing Lazer bombs at targets as small as rain barrels. But the Russian military not only has conscripts, it also has convicts in it. Some of these people will have mental problems. You can drop them into a uniform and instruct them to follow orders, but what they do when there isn’t an officer standing in front of them is probably a deck of options where the options are all wild cards. Imagine you have a guy manning a howitzer who has a huge passive-aggressive problem. He gets a set of coordinates to fire on with specific instructions NOT to fire two degrees to the left of those coordinates. Nobody is going to tie a disaster down to him and here’s his chance to do something BIG that nobody can stop. You might say nobody in their right mind would do something like that, but convicts are not noted for making good decisions.

Even if everyone involved as the best of intentions for their side, once a war starts bad things will happen. There’s no stopping it.

Probably the best thing that could happen would be if Ukraine shut down all reactors. But that’s unlikely as the power outage would leave people freezing in the dark...aways a bad thing for politicians. Notice that the power appears to be on all over the country. Neither side wants people they will rule over after the war freezing in the dark.

more wartime propaganda I’m sure.

Don’t be fooled, all this stuff is coming from those who brought us Russian Collusion, all the anti-Trump lies, and hoaxes, hundreds of “hate-crime” hoaxes, the Russian bounty on American GIs in Afghanistan hoax. What makes anyone think that they are telling anything approaching the truth now?

The Russians did indeed attack the facility, and did indeed set an office building on fire (which was being held by brave Ukrainian defenders.)

But the report that they shelled the power plant — as though seeking to damage the reactors — turned out to be incorrect.

they did not...there wasn’t ANY leak. Trust me, you are not gonna damage a nuclear reactor firing small arms...there was a small fire at an office building that had NOTHING to do with the generating side of that plant. Geez..

Yeah - I’m going to wait for independent verification of this “story”.

The fact that they have to resort to inflammatory scary words “ECOLOGICAL NUCLEAR DISASTER” lends credence to a fake news story.

Hopefully Russia has an ICBM targeted on wherever he is, at all times.

From 2014:

Guess who’s involved with this and kicking in millions for it’s construction?

Yep. It’s the good ol’ USA.

These are not Chernobyl style reactors. They have containment buildings which are like hardened bunkers, and most likely have already been safely shut down. The Russians are targeting these plants to cut off power to the country.

Soros gives to all parties and governments. You would be hard pressed to find anyone that isn’t associated, in some manner with him.

daily mail is always good for a laugh.
that’s some fine globalist propaganda.
after Zelensky finishes consolidating his bank accts of ill-gotten gains, he should focus on saving the lives of Ukranians by negotiating some deal assuming he still has some chance of keeping something that resembles statehood.

Yes. My Ukrainian friend said last week that his biggest fear is friendly fire self sabotage to make it look like Russians did it, which would start ww3. These “nuclear facilities” seem very carefully hit if you know what I mean.

There was video showing the deadly S400 being brought into Ukraine, so good luck flying around soon enough. By announcing all these weapons supplied from outside, its carte blanche for Putin to bomb away…at least keep this stuff private
