Have you seen the vids of large numbers of Molotov cocktails being lobbed at Russian tanks? I was stunned: The number of firebombs considerably exceeded anything I saw back in Maidan. I believe my wife got the link to the vid from a friend in England. It was on wifey’s computer and she’s asleep now, so I can’t verify it. However, if that and other reports coming back from Ukraine are at all accurate, Putin has a fiercely resistant population, or at least a good portion of one, on his hands. Quelling such will cost thousands of civilian deaths. Then following that, any government Putin tries to install will shortly have to resort to more extremely brutal repression, flee, or have their heads on pikes.
In addition, I certainly hope NATO will stir up trouble anywhere in Putin’s empire that it can, and engage in massive propaganda inside Russia.
