Maybe people have the right to confront their accuser in court. A robot camera can’t appear to testify against you. Attitudes like yours are chilling. “I never break the law so it doesn’t concern me.”
Our town only has one traffic light, but a small city a few miles down the road has set the traffic lights so that they wait a couple of seconds before the lights turn green, after the cross traffic lights have turned red. It does help avoid getting t-boned by some guy running a red light.

So you are a school teacher or college professor that drives 15 miles to work and 15 miles back home.
I can take you on a ride where the speed limit changes 3 or 4 times in 25 miles. All you have to do is look in your rear view mirror at the wrong sign and that deputy who makes his living hanging paper on non natives will get you.
As for tickets, the last one I got was 20 years ago for 65 in a 55 zone. I thought it was changed to 65 and told the cop so. He said I was off a little. In two weeks it would be 65. I asked if he was still going to give me the ticket and he said he was.
I told him I had nothing more to say to a guy that would do that. Write the damn ticket.

Turns out the cameras — which were supposed to eliminate “systemic racism” by police officers in issuing traffic tickets — are citing a disproportionate number of minorities anyway ... so they obviously have to be shut down.
I would think it would be hard not to have minorities make up most of those caught; FIFTY years ago, I was shopping downtown Chicago, and every clerk was black. Most of the suburbs aren’t that way, but Chicago proper sure was.
And I bet he goes 55 in the left lane.

I’ve got no problem with societies enforcing their laws, motor vehicle or otherwise. But the person who gets penalized ought to be the person that committed the violation.

That jumped right out at me as well. There were several months in 2020when there were almost zero cars on the roads. Now the Biden administration will use data comparing 6 months of 2021 to 2020. Most Americans are so clueless about numbers, they will probably believe that Biden has worked a miracle. The propaganda media will support the bogus comparisons.
