“Novak Djokovic has not been arrested...”

Ask them if he’s been detained or if he is free to move about then. Was he not escorted from the court by police officers against his will?

If so, then calling that an “arrest” is hardly misinformation. It’s just using completely appropriate terminology that the Australian government would prefer people not to use.

He was free within half an hour of his court hearing yesterday, by order of the court. He chose to spend the next few hours with his lawyers, which was probably wise, but it was his choice. And he has remained at liberty ever since.

He was not in any sense of the word, arrested, after his court appearance.
