Important distinction: ABSENTEE voting used to require a “valid” reason plus confirmation of voter eligibility plus a specific date prior to Election Day to be valid.
The Act 77 was to remove the “valid reason” portion, but not the rest. Surprise surprise, Democrats pushed that to “mass mail in votes for everyone”.
