They plan to steal another one.
Retired Generals doth protest too much.
As this is in the WaPo, this would be left leaning generals who are concerned about what conservatives might do.
We are a very long way from 2024. We are a very long way from Nov. 2022.
As far as a kinetic conflict coming up, the feelings exist but not the organizing.
Why wait until after 2024..if the threat of civil war is serious enough that you feel compelled to make such a grandiose statement?
Is your civil war going to wait a couple years?
These suckers really think they start one that they can come out on top?
The majority of the struggle will be over in less than 3 months.
The cities will be done for in two or three weeks.
Curious how they call it an “insurrection” when their own Brown shirts in the FBI said it wasn’t.
Second, they need to remember they are retired and a PFC just like me now. They need to STFU.
ANNNNNDD Another prophecy from our founding fathers comes true.
They were unanimous in their opposition to a standing army.
Names? We want the traitors’ names.

A never Trumper and a green energy activist.
A peaceful secession off the Red States would be preferable to any future “insurrection”
Once the communists weaponize the military against the People, it’s over...one way or another.
the only future for the United States at this point is an organic devolution of power out of Fed.gov out to the states
the vast majority of the country wants and expects that to proceed peacefully and under the rule of law.
there is a relatively small cadre in downtown DC who would have otherwise
Yeh, because they plan to steal the election all over again. Its like murder. Easier the second time. This is why 2020 has to be fixed and the rightful President reinstated. The sooner the better.
BTW my advice to the Pentagon is that if CW11 is coming its going to happen way before 2024 and its not going to be a govt false flag operation. It will be the real meal deal.
This is a military coup by the left ramping up. Period.
There were similar rumblings about ‘24 “civil war” on Meet the Press last week (I didn’t see it, but it was reported here). They’re already in full panic mode that Trump is going to run again and win. The powers that be are throwing down the gauntlet, more or less setting Trump 2024 as “Lincoln 1860,” i.e., if this man wins, the country will break up and descend into chaos.
So after Trump or DeSantis win in ‘24, exactly which insurrection are they worried about…?
President Trump was so respectful of the military, always honoring them, budgeting money for them, yet in the end, the generals not only said bad things about him, but they act against the best interests of the country.
"After retiring from the Army in 2006 Eaton was a frequent guest on various media outlets, where he often criticized the George W. Bush administration's prosecution of the Iraq War. In 2007, Eaton appeared in a political ad for VoteVets.org, similar to the ones prepared by retired Army Major General John Batiste.[6]
Eaton asserted that President George W. Bush did not heed the advice given by his military commanders.[citation needed] Eaton appeared on Bill Maher's HBO talk show and spoke out strongly against those who launched the Iraq War. In 2008 Eaton served as an advisor to Senator Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. Following Clinton's concession of the Democratic primary, Eaton has made several appearances in support of Senator Barack Obama's presidential campaign. In July 2016, Eaton appeared in a political campaign ad critical of Donald Trump, using the catchphrase "Too Dangerous for America."
MG Anthony Taguba:
"In 2004, Taguba was assigned to report on abuse of prisoners in Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq.[16] In May of that year, he published an extremely critical report that was leaked to the public"
BG Steven Anderson:
"In a wrongful-discharge case involving Brigadier General (ret.) Steven Anderson, the 4th Circuit reversed a district-court decision and upheld an in-house-lawyer-led internal investigation into Anderson’s alleged conflict of interests."
