Comorbidities . . . gets leaned on, but it doesn’t work. Because:

77% of people over 65 have hypertension. 77%!!! That is the #2 comorbidity in all Covid deaths. When 77% of old people have something, that something stops being separate. The issue is being old. Not being old plus this plus that plus something else.

#1 was Dementia, and that pushes the age much higher than 65. So those folks had Dementia, hypertension and probably a few others. Again, almost everyone in their 80s has one of these things. No point in mentioning them. The problem was 80+. Period.

You are guaranteed even the day before infection that 77% of the old population has “1 or more comorbidities”.

If they all have it, they died of Covid, not with Covid.

Excess deaths prove it.

And the really bad news is 77% is far, far above the % of elderly who are obese. Hypertension is affected by weight, but it’s not the primary factor. It just happens when you get old. So there will be none of the “well it’s their own fault for being fat” in the discussion.

My wife isn’t coughing and is laying on a couch loading up her Kindle with new reading material.

She is planning on prepping & cooking dinner tonight. Actually, I’m the prep guy.

Neither of us has had a fever with this crud. Basically no or minimal energy during the day and hot flashes and or cold flashes at bed time.

She has a bad hip and besides that, she hasn’t had a cold or URI for years until this hit. Out side of body aches from head to toe, she isn’t having any URI symptoms.

In Nov. 2 years ago, I had a terrible reaction to the 2nd Shingles shot or had some of the first Covid in this part of California or a combo of both. She had nothing at that time.
