"I don't know why we've had to rely on the World Socialists to lead the way in the debunking of the 1619 Project"

Socialism and progressivism are not the same thing.

The progressives want a racial narrative at this time and ultimately want an invisible bureaucracy to run the country from the shadows, and will change their narrative to suit different situations. Socialists want the same old tried and true class warfare mantra and almost always want the same mantra regardless of the situation, and ultimately want a total government takeover of the means of production that's not in the shadows but has high visibility.

Sobering graph. Only 4% of the African slaves went “north” to the United States and the UK, eh?

Silverstein has staked his reputation on the 1619 Project. This has gone badly for him. His name will forever be associated with the secretive manner through which the project invented its false and error-ridden historical interpretation, as well as the orchestration of the cover-up that has followed.
Thanks RACPE.

white socialist guys are not stupid by definition.

Anyone can see that if the US adopts CRT/1619 project/. —white people will be cursed forever. Its an intergenerational curse on white people that BLM and atifa are angling for.

Knowledgeable communists know that if this gains currency —then they are forever mensheviks. They can never be true bolsheviks because they’re white.

Their reaction is quite interesting.

The few real commies I’ve known have all been white as you please, and yeah, they’ve got their share of “toxic masculinity” to coin a phrase.

ckilmer, thanks for bringing me back to this thread. I had wanted to say to progressing america that WSWS had a few other interesting looking articles on the site. Including one about that “disrupting texts” or whatever it is. You know, the English Majors who hate Shakespeare. It seems clear the WSs are anti-that, but won’t be sure until I read the piece.

I do feel like I owe them another click or two, so probably will and will report back if it’s good!

Thanks Billthedrill! Glad you enjoyed it. Yes, I loved this part too “It is “fixed” because none of what happened can ever be changed even by one whit.”

I appreciated our erudite author pointing out the obvious for those like the folks at the NY Times who are too s.t.u.p.i.d. to realize it. And you know, he remains polite throughout the piece, which is better than I can do!
