He mad e mention of using ultraviolet light inside the body maybe an endoscope into the lungs as a disinfectant. In theory it should work just fine. Then Sanjay Gupta said it isn’t a good idea to drink bleach. That is how they started the whole drink bleach meme. Repeat over and over and use prior repetitions as your source.
