What any rational sane person is seeing in California is liberal/progressive/communist policies playing out to their logical conclusion which is corruption of the highest order, income inequality increasing rapidly, homelessness, energy prices going thru the roof and crime like no one has seen before, add all that up and anyone slightly conservative who can leave will eventually leave...

From “South Park”

Robert Redford
This is perfect. Why didn’t we think of it sooner? This town still has some charm left, not the mess we turned Park City into.

Phyllis
Forgive me for being observant, but, won’t we just end up doing the same thing to this town?

Robert Redford
Yes. And the town after, and the town after that. Like termites, we will move this film festival from town to town until we have used it up. And then move on, until every quiet mountain town is like Los Angeles.

Phyllis
Why? Why would we do such a thing?

Robert Redford
Because we have to live in L.A. And if we can’t live in quiet, simple, peaceful mountain towns, then nobody will!
*He laughs maniacally.*
Waitwaitwait. Zoom in to a close-up of my face when I do that. Ready? Then NOBODY will!

Yep, via work i know nearly dozen solid conservative types who have left NY, IL, and mostly California.

The ones form California are all really conservative-—we got new neighbors from Cali a few weeks ago and the 2nd day they were here their Gadsden flags were flying before they finished unpacking, they got rid of their cali license plates within two weeks max.

Most of them have said “we couldn’t take the lunacy any more”

Think the left is goign to be in for a shock when TX gets redder from not only immigration but the Hispanic population rapidly moving right as well

I moved from Irvine CA to Prescott Valley AZ in 2017. My guess is 40% of the people in the Quad Cities (PV, Prescott, Chino Valley, and Dewey) are from California.

The mild, four season weather and its political environment makes it a favorite place for conservatives to move to. If you want to buy a new construction home be prepared to wait until 2023.

Most of my clan left NY/NJ metro area, starting around 20 years ago. The culture had lost its appeal, crime and taxes had soared. I don’t remember a thing about it, but when they say it was great they’re talking about 1960.

Others left CA for the same reasons: culture, crime, taxes.

We are nearly all in PA now and enjoying low taxes and gun rights. :) Downside: no beaches, self-serve at the pumps, a few bears too many, and deadly deer in the streets.

If I ever leave, I’d like it to be for Alaska, but they have to work on their weather.

400k, lmao. I know where they can get a dozen "average" houses for that but my fingers are sealed.

Photo is a clear case of how socialism works except for those who run the program.

However, they will still vote blue in the states they move to. It happened in my state of Oregon and my friend from Arizona, who is involved in politics, says the state is now purple instead of red. They will never learn.

Outbound - 68% people leaving of 100% of people coming into or leaving out of the state, would imply a 32% inbound. So if 1000 people moved, into or out of state, 680 left and 320 entered.

Yes, but the illegal flow likely is not counted or is greatly underestimated. So the actual numbers in Cal probably don’t decline much.

I figured out back in 2018 when the media kept repeating the lie of Arizona turning blue because of Californian’s moving there, that it was ruse to cover for election fraud.
