Exactly.
In a statement titled “The Salvation Army’s Response to False Claims on the Topic of Racism,” the 156-year-old organization denies that the purpose of the guide or subsequent discussions revolving around the guide were meant to tell anyone “how to think.” However, the group has also opted to withdraw the guide for “appropriate review.”

They denied anything untoward in the guide, but withdrew the guide. Says everything.
“Salvation Army withdraws guide that asks white supporters to apologize for their race”
Salvation Army got woke and then went broke.
I was a strong supporter of them for years pushing the argument they were apolitical. Boy, was I wrong.
The backlash is going to result in some very empty kettles this year. I usually find a dollar or two to put in the pot, but I will be donating elsewhere in the future.
This is from appendix D: "• Denial of racism. We must stop denying the existence of individual and systemic/ institutional racism. They exist, and are still at work to keep White Americans in power."
When an organization starts talking about systemic/instituional racism, they're a lost cause; especially when they also talk about "keeping White Americans in power".
That’s a shame! /s
Probably "This is an internal guide...make sure it does NOT leak outside!"
They should apologize for calling ALL white people racist.
Which kind of sounds racist.
The International Social Justice Commission is reviewing its own guide? That isn't an apology, it's a coverup.
Exactly. They’ve been compromised and at best they’re going to do the same nonsense anyway but be quiet about it.
I expect the worst and anticipate seeing the Salvation Army starting to funnel donations to the DNC. Assuming this hasn’t happened already.
After a smug, smarmy “explanation” like that, donors should be double-rescinding their contributions.
Let the SA return to the modest and simple princiles of William and Catherine Booth, and shuck all of the politically correct nonsense.
I have adhered to this principle a good part of my life, I call it “Default Respect”.
I treat all people I meet with respect, until they give me a specific reason not to.
As you can guess, when I meet someone wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt, they have already given me a specific reason not to respect them, but I still try. They may just be a brainless follower who needs someone to tell them who they have on their shirt.
But you get the idea...
There is either "justice" or "injustice". There is no such thing as "social justice". It would be like saying "social truth".
The Salvation Army have Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. That is all they need. Their so called "Social Justice Commission" sounds like something Pope Frankie would have cooked up. Shame on the Salvation Army. They need to learn to stay on message.
Screw them.
Steer clear of any organization which has its own “International Social Justice Commission.”
SA - bite me.
Go to any soup kitchen. White Christians help out, yet, liberals claim otherwise.
Did they shut down the Marxist “Diversity” committee that produced this bigoted garbage? Fire the employees responsible for it? That’s all that matters. The proof is in the pudding as they say.
