Stopped giving to them when they walked out of some event or other for Trump.

Well, it looks like the Salvation Army has gone to “pot” literally speaking. ( You know, kettle - pot - gone to pot - oh never mind, if I have to explain it. . .)

Why not cut out the middleman and help a neighbor or towns person directly?
I read the missive (the manifesto, if you prefer) and although I'll give this historically fine organization the benefit of the doubt that this truly awful promotion was not intentional -- that it was not done with deliberate intent to provoke -- it is undeniably racist in its tone as well as in its very words.
I've been dropping money in the kettle -- most every SA kettle I come across -- for many decades, but until the Salvation Army makes a full retraction -- publicly, and not in the form of an "explanation" -- I will pass silently by every kettle I come across.
I simply cannot support an organization -- no matter how worthy and no matter how well-intentioned -- that promotes racism. There it is.
I am very disappointed by this. I have given thousands of dollars to the Salvation Army over the year, not counting the money I put in their kettles. Like you, I put money in every kettle I see.
Or, had.
Just won’t do it anymore. That saddens me. But it was they who started down this racist road, not me.
I don't know who to trust anymore. Not the church. Not the politicians. Not the SCOTUS. Not any judges. Not the (p)resident who doesn't believe in self-defense. It's the world gone mad.
My bank, who I had been with for more that 40 years, went completely woke. It took me six months to extricate myself from them and go to another bank.
I got rid of my credit card which was with a woke organization, now my current one is woke, so I have to figure out what to do there.
I was a lifelong user of Gillette products, and they so disrespected me with their militant woke agenda I dropped them immediately, will never use them again.
I had Netflix, and they became so disgustingly woke that I dropped them as soon as I could.
I was a Boy Scout, and I gave money to them whenever I could. I cannot support them anymore due to their stance on homosexuality.
I used GoFundMe, now I use GiveSendGo.
Now this.
I feel that I am constantly being backed into a corner. It makes me angry, but the fact that giving money to a company or organization supports them forces me to drop them.
I hate it. I hate this crap. I hate it. I see the cowardly cancer everywhere, and I see the willingness to embrace the corrosive cancer as a craven self preservation measure at best, and woke Leftists at the helm who actually believe the filth.
By getting all preachy and virtue signaling. The are a “good organization” for doing it. I feel all warm inside, now.
Forget that it is total BS and insincere and that they have lost all integrity and value by whoring themselves to the left.
