The cops had been called numerous times. They couldn’t catch him.

And they were on the phone with 911 when this ensued.

Whatever the complexities of this case, real or imagined, for these guys to get off, or a slap on the wrist, is going to result in a REAL riot of the kind some are still hoping for in the aftermath of the Rittenhouse not guilty verdict. In fact, the idiots who prosecuted Rittenhouse made him out to be basically the aggressor just in the same way as McMichaels was.Interesting counterpoint between these two cases, and the assumptions behind them.NOW, with the Rittenhouse case settled for the time being, the public attention can finally be turned toward the Arbery case.

That’s a nice hypothetical scenario.

Now let’s get back to what actually happened, OK?

In testimony, the owner, Larry English said he had called 911 regarding a white couple who had entered his property:

In testimony he also said he had no 'no trespassing' signs up and he never had anything stolen from the site.

Georgia Homeowner Testifies That He Never Authorized Men Accused of Murdering Ahmaud Arbery to Confront Anyone at His Property

The article also states that he believed the white couple were the same individuals who had stolen items worth $2500 from his fishing boat.

Did the McMichael's chase down and threaten any white couples? Just curious.

Sure..but not what happened.

In his statement after arrest, and which he later confirmed on the stand, McMichael said his father yelled at Arbery "Stop or I'll blow your f*cking head off." Since he had done nothing wrong then being confronted by armed individuals threatening to kill him certainly justified fighting back. Sure he went for the shotgun. He believed he was fighting for his life. As the aggressor McMichael loses the self-defense claim. His actions precipitated the conflict and his shooting of Arbery was murder.

Only if you are a complete and total idiot. Then you win the Darwin Award, as this dude did.

Posted from memory after reading the police report from a year ago. The McMichaels and Bryan tried to box Arbery in with their vehicles. They were coordinating. They told the police that. If they said they didn’t speak to him, fine. That is what they said.

Read the testimony.

Which part? The part where the owner of the property said Arbery never took anything? The part where McMichal testified that his father told Arbery to "Stop or I'll blow your f*cking head off"? Or is there some other part of the testimony you're thinking of?

The McMichael brothers have to be in contention for that award.

“ Not true. If someone drives up to me gets out and points their gun at me. I’m gonna do whatever it takes to not get shot by that guy!”

If you were told the cops were on the way and actually HEARD the sirens “whatever it takes” could include standing still and waiting for the cops to come so you could tell them you were threatened by armed men, and that they should arrest them.

So if the very men who are holding guns on you and threatening to blow your f*cking head off tell you the police are on the way to sort things out you're supposed to believe them?

Amen. Worse than that, they were fools. And to think the older McMichael worked for 20 years as an investigator for the State Attorney’s Office and did not learn a thing. Not only did they get their tails in a crack. The former State Attorney was defeated, according to reports, largely because of this case. And was later indicted. They chased the poor guy for ever how long they pursued him. And never once said, “Stop I am making a Citizen’s arrest!” Or Stop, I am making a Citizen’s arrest!” Instead, “Stop we want to talk to you!” He is under no obligation to stop. Nor was he under any obligation to stop if they said Citizen’s Arrest. And one cannot legally use deadly force to effect a Citizen’s Arrest as this dynamic trio is about to learn the hard way. Roddy’s lawyer has stated that Roddy has since lost his home. That should not worry Roddy because the State of Georgia is going to give Roddy a home for the next 20 years. For Roddy’s wife and children, if he has any, though, it is a different story. They will have to find another place to live. Mr. ifinnigan, There was this idiot from Clearwater, Florida. He got himself a CCW License and a pistol. He then appointed himself Parking Lot Police of that parking lot. A vehicle driven by a Black female pulled into the parking lot. And she parked in a handicap parking space while her husband or boy friend went into the store. She remained seated in the vehicle with the children. She was confronted by Mr. CCW, A/k/a, Parking Lot Policeman. Words were exchanged. When the husband or boy friend emerged, and got in the vehicle, she informed him of the confrontation. He exited the vehicle and confronted the Parking Lot Guardian. Words were again exchanged. He knocked the Parking Lot Guardian down with a punch. He promptly shot the man dead. Mr. CCW holder shouted, “I stood my ground! I was standing my ground”! The real Police upon arrival quickly ascertained that he did indeed have a valid CCW. They also learned that the store in question had not authorized him to guard their parking lot. To make a long story short, Mr. Parking Lot Policeman is now “Standing his ground” at one of the State of Florida’s Correctional Facilities. A/k/a, prisons.
