Gabbard proposed changes to the electoral college, but wasn't in favor of abolishing it. Her views on abortion have changed over time. The rest seems on target. She's a Democrat after all.
Her father was a Republican and relatively conservative but couldn't get elected, so he became a Democrat. Tulsi is more liberal, but she may have picked up some of the maverick spirit from him.

I don’t like almost all her politics but Tabi seems to have a real honest streak about her. Unusual for a Democrat.
