Somehow they all overlook that. If your tax cut results in a 2% increase in revenue and your spending for the period rises 5% or 6% then you're still digging yourself into a deeper hole.

Maybe we need an Entertainment Tax, let’s say 20% of Gross Salary to start, funds to used specifically to reimburse Citizens that suffered an injury or loss at the hands of an Illegal Alien. Make the funds liable for Punitive Damages as well with the percentage of tax to be adjusted as necessary.

Taxes and debt are now completely uncoupled.
If taxes were zero nothing would change. Tax policy exists to reward some and punish others. Right now GOP tax policy is misaligned with voters.
