How well will they fair without their speech writers, makeup artists, clerks, press flacks, lobbyists, friendly worshipful reporters, and all the other sicko-phants?

And what about the thousand layers of bureaucrats doing their bidding?

How about their armed guards? Will they have time to evacuate their families? Will they resent losing their spouses and children? Will some of them be too grief stricken and distracted to be as effective as they need to be?

Will the people back in Buncombe County think this act of God means they've lost their "mandate of Heaven"?

Reminded m ofthe old Lil Johnny joke:

One day in class, the teacher decided to show the students various garden tools. First she held up a shovel and asked if any one knew what this tool was called.
