“The subject of this article quit because he only had a mere 15-20 YEARS left counteract the Chinese drive to be dominant. I’m glad he quit and let the public what a pathetic leader he is. Better he quit now so that persons who can actually organize and achieve victory in the next 15 to 20 years can get started.”

Pretty much so, yes.

And we don’t want a guy in that position who doesn’t know what anecdotal means.

I wouldn’t be surprised. I’ve worked on one government contract, and left the company soon after. Also know people who know people. Not enough hardware, ancient systems, about OS/2 level operating systems. Paid military enlistee salaries unless have college degree, then may qualify for junior officer salary. Other things best left unsaid.
Typical military hurry up and wait, in a situation where we need to hurry up and hurry up faster.
Plus civilian complete lack of knowledge of the unique issues involved in preparation for military threats to IT hardware, software, communications, etc. Plus fifth column in military or contracted to military.
Civilian software written with holes big enough to lose a war through. Routers. It isn’t that hard to configure one, if it’s engineered properly. 30.

I say, bring back the Wild West and Hangin' Judges !

"In the coming weeks, Chaillan said he will testify ... "

We're talkin' software, computers, instant, PRE instant even ... electronic results of a program ... think Wall Street ...

IN THE COMING WEEKS ?

WTF is wrong with us that we don't demand and get, or perform ourselves what we know is justice.

God is pretty clear on the matter.

Sin is sin and punishable, and in some extreme cases, should be immediate.

‘Whether it takes a war or not is kind of anecdotal.’

Guessing he meant “incidental.”

I suspect there's Pentagon brass that wants our country to lose to China... the same folks who gave China and the Taliban $85 BILLION DOLLARS worth of weapons and high tech technology.

And yeah, 'Willie' Milley could have run to his boys at the Washington Post and New York Times and 20 publishing houses IF HE HAD WANTED TO STOP THE LOSS OF TOP SECRET AMERICAN TECHNOLOGY THE CHINESE ARE NOW REVERSE ENGINEERING...

He did not...didn't even make an effort...

Milley had the press on speed dial all through the Trump years. He made NO EFFORT to safeguard our weapons...IT WAS INTENTIONAL...AND WHEN HE AND HIS THUGS LOSE THE CYBER WAR it'll be intentional again.

Lol, unprovoked argumentum ad hominem. Only convinces me that if you are indeed American, you are a liberal. Being American (i.e. born) does not preclude you not knowing certain idioms of the English language.

How would you feel if “America” were to build up Red Vietnam in the same way the left in the USA built up Red China?

If there is a real high intensity war with the Red China it will not end well for them. Millions of Americans will die but China will be an irradiated ruin.

No Red-Chinese-made automobiles are being exported to the USA

China-made 2021 Buick Envision unveiled and on sale

Envision has been made in China and exported to US since 2021.

I said Red Chinese made (meaning wholly), not Red Chinese assembled.

Boy, we better have people that won’t quit.

We have Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos. They might be assholes. Even leftist. But they'll be useful in this kind of battle with China.

They make parts there, they make the engines there, it isn’t just assembled China. Nothing is wholly made anywhere anymore, but it these are predominantly Chinese made.

The articles I read there said “Chinese-assembled”. Certainly agree that’s a slippery slope to more Red Chinese control of the process.

Anyhow, the OP claimed that we were being sold wholly-made Chinese cars, implying makes of cars.

I think we are getting a little deep into the semantics of "made". It is true we aren't seeing cars made by Chinese auto companies in the US (e.g., Cherry, Geely), but US and European companies are making cars in China (not just assembling) and importing them to the US. Buick Envision being a primary example - parts, including the engine, are manufactured in China. It isn't just a cheap labor assembly deal.

https://www.gmchina.com/zh/home.html

There are now 2.5x as many cars made in China as the US. in 2019, 25 million in China, 10.8 million in the US.
