At the Port of Savannah in Georgia, nearly 80,000 containers are stacked up on the docks, which is 50% more than normal, the
New York Times reported . And some ships have waited for nine days before getting a slot.
Georgia Port Authority director Griff Lynch said Sunday in an interview with Trey Gowdy on Fox News "Sunday Night in America" said the problem began a year and a half ago when foreign ports shut down because of COVID.
"The supply chain shut down. The supply chain is only so big, and that disruption is what we're feeling today. We’re trying to force more cargo through the supply chain and it's only so big and so resilient," Lynch explained.
Buttigieg believes the Democrats' $3.5 billion infrastructure plan would help address the crisis, but Lynch said the problem stems more from a lack of workers than a lack of resources.

Ben Shapiro:
It turns out when you panic the vaxxed out of working, bar the unvaxxed from working, and pay everybody not to work, nobody works.

Everything under the Biden administration has turned into a crisis. Biden is even making Jimmy Carter look good by comparison.

This is panning out to be a Biden sized screw up, though it is happening regardless of what he does. He seems to have the “luck of the Biden’s”, as this is all the delayed consequences of worldwide COVID economic shutdowns. ‘Ol Joe just can’t catch a break! Let’s go Brandon!

Raise the import tariffs, make more stuff in the USA instead of shipped from China.
That will help. It will reduce demand for overseas goods at the same time it provides tariff revenues to the government, and makes American companies more competitive.
Fortunately, the supply chain disruption itself may have similar effects, except it won’t fund the government. But if companies and people can’t timely get goods from overseas, they may decide to buy American.

Ben Shapiro has his faults, but his intellectual ability to focus on certain problems and spell them out as he did in that quote is not one of them!

The whole Biden administration has people completely unqualified to run anything. From Biden on down. And, while we’re at it, the leaders in congress, especially Pelosi and Schumer, need to be gone too.
If this were a corporation, all the people at the top would have been asked to resign, or would’ve been fired. If we’re going down, we might as well go down with new people leading us.
Get those damned people out of our lives!
