How can we stop tornadoes? They usually kill many also. How do we stop the rain from falling along with fires starting near electrical lines and lighting? How do we stop the moon’s gravitational field from causing high tides? OK, floods solved, have a bright colored life jacket handy in areas they occur.

Hurricane Ida at landfall was very similar to the cat-4 hurricane that destroyed Galveston (with its smaller than current model of sea wall) in 1900.

This alone pretty much disproves the Ida = climate change hypothesis.

I believe some other Texas city was obliterated by a hurricane in the 19th century and was never rebuilt.

There was probably some monster hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico in the 12th century that nobody recorded.

The amount of rain that just fell in New York City was about two thirds of the record amounts that fell in 1903 and 1882 and whoops, I did it again.
