I have faith in Jackie Chan. Unfortunately I think whatever his plan is will result in his demise.
(It funny to hear him talk about the Chinese Communism fighting the Japanese during WW2....
the Chinese Communism sandbagged it during WW2... they let the Nationalist and the Japanese fight in out in WW2
Then the Communism came after in and took out the weakness Nationalist...
Or don't people find in odd that the war between the Japanese and China could go on from 1932 to 1945 but the the Chinese Communist could beat the Nationalist it 2 years 1946 to 1948.. and then the same massive Chinese Communism force that fought us to a draw in Korea 50 to 53...
Were was the overwhelming Chinese Communism force from 32 to 45 again the Japanese... that we saw from 46 to 53?
It's was a smart tactic to let the Japanese weaker the Chinese Nationalist.. but alot of Chinese died as the Communism waited it out
But then the Communism had help.. look up that A---hole American General Stillwell that was all buddy buddy with Mao. Vs General Claire Chennault of the AVG that had been fighting with the Chinese Nationalist against the Japanese from the mid 30's
Jackie Chan, idiot Chinese Asskisser... Does Chan mean ‘Asskisser’ in Chinese?😀
In the 90s (Police Story 3 aka Super Cop, 1992) he played a Hong Kong native police officer who had to enter Communist China to pursue a bad guy.
His partner on the case is a Chi-Com woman officer.
They have banter back and forth throughout the original movie as I recall (less recall on the horribly altered “Super Cop” version) about the differences in Hong Kong and mainland China. The woman at one point (near the end) tells him that Hong Kong will be theirs in 1997 so it make no difference anyway,
I do know that Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Tsui Hauk, John Woo, Chow Yon Fat and others all left film production behind in Hong Kong after the 1997 handover. They went to Australia, Canada, the United States etc to make movies for a number of years (and finally cracked the US boxoffice charts although they were always internationally big in box office around the world except the US).
Sounds like he is bowing to the master now.
After considering the alternative. Confiscation of wealth and property, disappearing like Jack MA, being cancelled, imprisoned, tortured or worse, we have decided we love the CPC!
“I’m gradually beginning to feel that we Chinese
need to be controlled. If we’re not being controlled,
we’ll just do what we want.”
— Jackie Chan
Chan could also get an American citizenship which is, essentially, the same thing nowadays...
Someone queue up the, “Well, Bye” guy.
It’s easy when you know you will be among the chosen.
Go, get, shoo!
