You could argue that Gov. Huey Long was far more of an extremist than FDR. Some have suggested that a 1st term FDR feared a challenge from him.

I expect the new government will do better than Netanyahu --- Afterall, tt was under Netanyahu's 12 year watch that Hamas built tunnels, continuously; it was under Netanyahu's watch that Hamas acquired more sophisticated weapons and gave the mighty IDF two inconclusive wars to brag about.
It was under Netanyahu's 12 years (after 20 years of talking about stopping Iran) that Iran --- in spite of the baratone's begging across the globe -- signed an agreement with the West. And it was under Netanyahu that the world would LOL when he'd proclaim he would act alone against Iran.
"Mr. Security" was all talk and talk and talk. I'm relieved Israel survived his reign.
