“...people don’t trust the vaccine enough to believe it really works.”
I think it’s more likely people have been bombarded with mixed messages about vaccines that they probably shouldn’t trust them, all of them. And I personally don’t have any reason to trust the government for anything because I worked for them and saw some really (?) things.
I observe people to have a need to get the shot(s) for a number of reasons, very few for a cure. Most of it is trying to get back to a normalized life. In my advanced years, I have determined for me that quality is higher on the stemp that quantity. So if I have to have the shot(s) to travel, to attend functions, or just interact with people that are important to me, I took it. And as long as we are receiving a variety of half truths, no one can live a normal life. And it is going to be this way until the people either threaten to or vote the current crop of politicians out into the streets.
Look at Newsome in California, perfect example. Starting In January the state was locked up tight. But when the recall started, the screws were turned at warp speed and the state is opening up rapidly. Coincidence? Not hardly.

Fauci exposed as a fraud.. and you still demand our obedience

In case you missed it, interview with a highly-published Texas A&M medical school professor and Heart doctor.
“Peter McCullough states one whistleblower at CMS and two at CDC. Data coming from Centre for Medicaid Services pointing to 50000 dead in US from/associated with the vaccine.”

I have posted similar thoughts in the past.
Although I'm not in that "advanced" age group, I do believe that even if the long-term effects are not known, the remaining lifespan of the "advanced" age group is such that it shouldn't be a worry. It's the under-50 group that I worry about.
I even think that people in the 60-70 group are the ones with the most to consider. These are the newly retired who were looking forward to a period of life almost equal to their working years, with 25+ years to enjoy. I wouldn't be surprised if this age group is the most wary of taking the vaccine.

I know the media/dems are still scaring people, but we’re under 10,00 cases, this pandemic in the U.S. is over. https://covid.cdc.gov/covid-data-tracker/#trends_dailytrendscases
What a terrible thing to happen. May God bless and protect you and your family at this time.
Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification.
” I wouldn’t be surprised if this age group is the most wary of taking the vaccine.’
What Uncle Sugar has painted through the media and people like Fauci is that the virus is a miracle of science the government created for you and not even close to a death sentence. They tried to scare people into taking it. And when that failed, they tried to force them by taking things away because no one wanted to eat their Broccoli.
The 60 and 70 age group you mentioned have had enough of them grow weak minded and soft toward independent thought and negative reaction that they are prime targets for any scam coming down the road to include the government. The only reason the libs get re-elected is because people buy into the lies the socialists blurt out. With all the instances where they have been caught lying for their agenda, who in the right mind would vote for them if they weren’t programed by the public education system and/or acting on their own without deduction or memory? Those incapable or just plain stupid and don’t care because they do what they are told being weak minded?
