They need to strip credit scores from background checks unless the position is financial in nature.
Seriously, why is Checkr sending a mini-credit report to all employers that ask for it?
Really it’s a law in quite a few states that anyone working in a capacity involving children, including volunteers must undergo a background check every three years.
