US may soon reach ‘tipping point’ on COVID vaccine ‘enthusiasm’: report

My wife and I were watching a series on Prime Video ("Billions," if you're interested), and we saw an interesting PSA. Apparently, there's a movement to guilt the US into supporting the idea that unless the world gets COVID-19 under control, the disease will NOT be under control.

I couldn't help but think that THIS will be the next "goalpost" to be moved by Fauci and others. Unless we redistribute our wealth and resources EVERYWHERE, we will never return to normal.

I never questioned it, I knew with no hesitation that I would never touch these or let anyone I care about touch these.

Over 200 million have been vaccinated. Add to that all those who have been infected by the Wuhan Virus and therefore not vaccinated as they have the anti-bodies in their system, and you have enough to proclaim herd immunity - I would think. What say ye??

Then remove the masks and hug your nearest neighbor!!!

Well, the enthusiasm for the vaccine might improve in states like Illinois IF the government talked about removing the mask mandate after a threshold of vaccinations are administered.

Illinois just opened up the vax for people under 65 last week. I live in a downstate metro area and got the first jab today. I had to drive 25 miles to a bedroom community drug store to get it, so it seems to me people are in line to get it.

No wonder...everyday the media reports of bad reactions or deaths supposedly due to the COVID vaccines. The media also trumpets every new strain of COVID real or imagined and assures us that the current vaccines give little or no protection. This makes the public wary of the vaccine and fosters the attitude of why bother if being vaccinated will still requires masks and social distancing and offers no protection against today’s latest “killer” strain of COVID. The COVID narrative has become convoluted, filled with contradictions and so often wrong the public rightfully mistrusts any “experts”. There are also those who have been so paniced by the lying media that they fear leaving their homes even to get the vaccine.

The pause in the J&J vaccine must have hurt demand. The damage to that brand (and vaccines generally) was done.

The committee meets today (Fri. 23 Apr), and will likely recommend resuming J&J (just like AZ in Europe).

Being a one shot, when they get their production on track, they could satisfy a lot of the remaining demand pretty quickly. Novavax is also coming down the pike with their vaccine, expected in May. Both of those big supply increases are possible factors in the Country shifting from vaccine shortage to vaccine surplus, over the next 2-4 weeks (if they are right about that forecast).
